Dr. Susan Mansourian, M.D.
FACR · Summa Cum Laude, Debrecen Medical School · Rheumatology Fellowship, University of Kentucky
Good rheumatology starts with listening. Dr. Mansourian takes the time to understand how joint pain or an autoimmune condition is actually affecting your day-to-day life, then works with you on a plan that fits it — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

About Dr. Mansourian
Susan Mansourian, M.D., FACR, earned her medical degree at Debrecen Medical School in Hungary, where she graduated summa cum laude. After moving to the United States, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Rochester Regional Health – Unity Campus in Rochester, NY, and then a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Kentucky. That fellowship is where she found her niche: the complicated cases — the diagnoses that don’t fit neatly into a textbook.
She’s an active member of the American College of Rheumatology and makes a point of keeping up with new research and treatment options. The field moves quickly, and she believes her patients should get the benefit of that progress.
Ask her patients what stands out, though, and it’s usually not the credentials. It’s that appointments don’t feel rushed. Questions get straight answers. And treatment decisions are made together — not handed down.

Beyond the Clinic
When she’s not in clinic, you’ll probably find Dr. Mansourian with a paintbrush in hand — watercolor and acrylic, mostly. She loves to travel, and she guards her time with family and friends.
She speaks English and Farsi, and she’s glad to care for patients from all across Whittier and Southeast Los Angeles.
“I want every patient to leave feeling heard — and with a plan that makes sense for their life, not just their lab results.”Dr. Susan Mansourian
